April 10, 2009: A rumour has reached our ears that Zak is retiring. The official word on this is that Zak is NOT ready to retire! He says his boat is nowhere near ready, and that he does not see it being ready in the forseeable future, as he is much too busy working. On the other hand if anyone wants to throw him an unretirement party, he will be glad to see if he can fit it into his schedule.
March 10, 2008: If the sightings of Starfire's employees are to be believed, Zak may be working at bringing another blade back from the ashes. They also report that he has a few new ideas percolating
October 22, 2007: There is a legend of a Duck being sighted at King Richard's Faire's Jousting Field on the closing week-end...We're awaiting photographic proof!
July 7, 2007: There are mutterings being heard that Zak might be playing with some new designs before the end of the season. Keep your fingers crossed!
April 10,2007: Rumour has it that Zak might be at the opening weekend for the Georgia Renaissance Fair...
April 9, 2007: We've been hearing noises through the grapevine that Zak is never bringing back the ACS and SB series blades. This is absolutely NOT true. Zak is hoping to be able to get these back into production this summer, barring unforseen problems. So keep your eyes open, and tell those nay-sayers to do the same.
February 19, 2007: It has come to our attention that there are some people out there who have been saying that Zak is dead. If this is so, Zak has been too busy for himself, or anyone else to have noticed the change in his status. This being the case, Zak requests that anyone having information regarding his wake, please contact Starfire, so he can see if he can work it into his schedule, or barring that, send his regrets for his absence.
Thank you!
